Greta’s love for the Pacific Northwest brought her back home to attend Gonzaga University School of Law, where she earned her JD in 2020 with pro bono distinction. During law school, she volunteered with the Moderate Means Program, served as a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, and gained hands-on experience as a student attorney for the Low-Income Tax Clinic.
Her legal career began at the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office, where she served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for three years. During that time, she managed the county’s DUI caseload, acted as city prosecutor for the City of Poulsbo, and gained valuable experience in the felony general trial unit and special assault unit. Her work ranged from handling unranked felonies to navigating third-strike violent offenses, all while honing her skills as an advocate and litigator.
As a prosecutor, Greta saw unique insights into the criminal justice system, from how cases are built to the strategies employed in negotiations and trials. However, she found herself increasingly drawn to defense work, where she could focus on the individuals behind the cases.
Greta believes that every client deserves an advocate who views their story as more than just a case number.
